I drove home last night in such a state of sadness. I thought about the film and the perspective of the men and women who told their stories. Aggressive acts, whether military or not, seem to only create more hatred and aggression. I found myself even wondering about my own aggressive tendencies. After all, anger is a human emotion. But, are human beings fundamentally aggressive? Are males more aggressive than females? What would a group of women done in the same situation? And what about all the action movies that glorify aggression? What about Iraq and the war there? Is it just the same story? WE still fight wars, and I wonder, has my generation let your generation down? I feel so sad thinking about all of it.
