i think that this artical stereotypes many "social classes". I went to a high school where we had many lower class families and then we had some "upper or elite" families. In some cases the lower class kids did a great deal better in their classes and studies than the upper class kids did. I just dont think that you can assume that just becuase a couple of schools are this way that ALL schools are this way. Its very stereotypical.

I also feel that this article stereotypes many of our social classes. I work in a Title One school, were most of the population is poor with a few well-to-do children. This school has always preformed very well on EOG, so all those poor kids are doing well in their education.
