for once in my appalachian career, i feel like i finally have the opportunity to take a class that, for no other reason, i want to take. the problem is, this is quite a task. i definitely want to take something that will help me with my future endeavors and hope that you guys can help with some suggestions. i thought this would also be a good opportunity for us to all share classes that we have taken that we feel have really helped expand our ideas about the world in which we live.
specifically, i was wondering about dr. cambell's african american history course and the world religions course. any other classes that you guys have taken that were worthwhile would be greatly appreciated!
one class that i took that i really enjoyed was bruce dick's african american literature class. i thought it was a great way to learn about some unfamiliar history and culture through the words of those who really lived it.
