Thinking back to high school one of our peers that i had gone to school with since elementary school died in a car accident. About 30 minutes after that one of my very close friends was in a bad accident. The second girl was ok, but that was a lot for us to handle in one day. The school not only had people from our school brought in to talk to us, but they also brought in our old guidance counciler from elementary school. For some reason this was a great comfort to us b/c she had been there with us at our elementary school. Did anyone else have an experience like this?

When one of our high school band's former member's took his own life it was our Band teacher at the time that really united us and helped us get through the experience and I have always respected him for that.
