I've been thinking about the whole suicide topic recently that we talked about in class. For once i didn't really voice my opinion in class about this subject! The reason is i really don't know what i would do. I'm sure that i'm not the only one who feels like this but don't worry! I have a very strong feeling that if we were in that situation we would know what to do by instinct.
The reason that i say this is that i have a friend who has tried to kill himself 2-3 times already. He is bipolar and there is no medication that he has found that works for him. He kind of just told me this one night and in that situation you don't have anytime to think about what you SHOULD say, but you just say it. We talked about it and it was fine because i fed off of his emotions and tried not to make him feel uncomfortable.
What i'm trying to say is don't panic. When the time comes, we'll know what to do!

Awesome, Emily. This echoes my "deep breath, pause" posting to Betsy. I totally agree with you.
