I have to know:

Toast, then only butter
Toast, then butter, then jelly
Toast, then only jelly
Butter, then toast
Butter, then toast then jelly
Dry
Some other way

I know it is goofy, but it would be nice to know, and give us all a little change of pace.

Toast, then butter, then grape or strawberry jelly. However, grilled cheese and tomato does make an awsome meal, especially for a broke college student!!! :D

How about toast dipped in real butter with a touch of sugar ,vanilla, and cinnamon . Then glazed with your favorite topping(powdered sugar).

I have decided that I can focus more on these foundatiional topics with a piece of my favorite toast in my hand. HA

I hate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I think I ate too much peanut butter when I was growing up. I do however like jelly sandwiches and FRENCH TOAST - yum! :)

If it's delicious homemade whole grain bread, toasted and dry...
If it's breakfast - toast and butter
If it's sourdough bread or french bread - dipped in olive oil
toast with butter, cinnamon and splenda
toast with butter and honey
:D
fun post, Zack...

I prefer toast, then butter, then all-fruit spread.

first...you gotta your toast to that perfect "hey, look at me i'm almost burned! watch what you're doing, idiot!" level of toasted. then you slap some butter on there and you're ready to eat.

I am glad this was a popular one.
For me, just some butter and then toast, making the bread a little soft. I guess I am just boring. Though, apple butter is better than fantastic.
