Has anyone ever seen the movie, "Killing Me Softly?" It is a series of movies that discuss how demeaning advertising is to women and to African American people. It points out that in every advertisement the men are taller than the women, the women are looking up to the men, the African American people are looking up to the white people. It is a very interesting video to watch and after watching the video it really makes you look at advertisments differently. If things like this interest you, I recommend you watch the video.

I have also seen the movies, and it really made me look at advertising in a different light. I never really realized or thought about how many subliminal messages there are in commercials, ads in magazines, on billboards, all around us in our society. I also recommed watching the movies, it definately put things in a new perspective for me.
