Post subject:  Student Teaching

I'd like to know who among us is going to be student teaching next semester and where? What are your expectations for student teaching? your fears? What are you looking forward to the most/least?
As for myself, I have some definite nervousness and anxieties, but I think once I get into a classroom, start learning some names and start feeling a flow, I'll get comfortable. I'm worried that my views of our history are too cynical and that I won't impart enough of the positives. I know I'll have to temper some of my own political views in the classroom, but I'm not there to indoctrinate, I just want kids to think. I expect to be tired, but happy, at the end of every day. Anyway, I'm going to be at Watauga High if there are any of you who are going there, too, let me know.
