I asked two questions regarding questions number 6 and 11 on our final, and she asked me to post the questions in case any of you had the same questions. I asked
"In question number 6 you ask about if it is a positive or negative
correlation. Are you referring to if we think it is good or bad, or
mathematically as is it a positive correlation that indeed poorer kids
do preform worse in the school system?
In question number 11 it talks about sex role stereotyping. Are you
meaning gender or sexual identity?
She responded by saying,
I"m glad you asked! Regarding 6, I do mean literally "mathematical
correlation" not value judgment, though I'm sure you have one of those,
too! I want to make sure you understand the notion of correlation as it
is used in statistics. Regarding 11, sex role stereotyping in that
question refers to both gender and sexual identity, which is actually
why I used the phrase "sex role stereotyping".
