I've read this book in the past and the author seems very involved and yet has he revisited the schools he is so concerned about? The articles we discussed in class about the current situation of the schools he wrote of makes me wish that the author would revisit the schools and the situations and see what if anything has changed.

While reading Savage Inequalities I also found myself wondering, "What are theses schools like today?" How have they changed under No Child Left Behind? Has Kozol revisited any of these schools?

I agree. I would like to know if there has been any change. It would also seem that he would be interested in knowing if his research had any impact on the schools.
