Post subject:  Rorty's explanation of Kozol

I was wondering what your thougths were on how Rorty might explain what Kozol attempted to do by writing Savage Inequalities. I think Rorty would refer to the definitions of truth, "t"ruth vs. "T"ruth in terms of school funding, conditions of schools, etc.

I think you're right. I think that often the public and the school boards see those issues as being "Truth". Kozol on the other hand, was trying to expose what was going on and perhaps view these issues as "truths". He wants to bring change to the educational system as it is.
