A recent article in the Charlotte Obsever talked about the Federal Government being sue by the NEA and several school systems/state. The suit alledges that the states and local districts are being required to pay for NCLB out of their local budgets which is in violation of NCLB. In light of these lawsuits, what do you think is in the future of NCLB?

I've heard all this talk as well. What kills it for me is that fact that the states that are fighting the most are the states with the most abysmal test scores and graduation rates...in other words, the ones with the most to lose.
NCLB may not provide the funding but no one can argue that there have been significant increases in achievement for the target groups.
