In another class I'm currently taking we discussed the number of errors that can be found in textbooks. One example of a mistake found in a text book that is currently being used is that the Statue of Liberty is made of bronze, which it is really made of copper. Has anyone else found errors in their textbooks?

In my textbooks I have found more spelling and grammatical errors but not really errors in the factual information.

I am curious to know at what level you are talking about. Are you talking about factual or grammatical? I have seen it both ways. If you really want to take it even farther, I think that controversial issues are only shown to have a single side to them and that is, in my opinion, a factual error.
