I am anxious to see the development of technology in schools. Do any of you think that you'll create a teacher web page for your students and parents to access? Maybe put the students homework on line so that they can check it from home? What other things will you have on the page?

Yes, I hope to develop a webpage as a communication tool between me, my students, and their parents. It is very accessible and efficient. I would probably post the weeks homework assignments, so that students could work on them at their own pace. I would also post announcements or requests for volunteers etc. I would also include my contact information. For those families who do not have access to the internet I would prepare a paper version of the information and send it home with the students.

Yes...I hope that I will do that. Especially after the fact that we have to produce technology portfolio or telefolios. In addition to that I also have to create a webpage for one of my classes...so I guess that I will start off with a design similiar to the one I have.
