Just some news that I got today from Dr. Greene (in the middle grades block), Jessica Lynch said that her goal is to become a kindergarten teacher. After she was rescued from the POW camp her parents told how she wanted to be a kindergarten teacher and it motivated Dr. Greene to do something about it. Dr. Greene asked the Provost of the university to allow her to come to ASU to pursue her teaching dream. The Provost granted Jessica an option to attend ASU and fulfill her dream. Don't know if she'll take it, but I thought it was cool.

Yeah Aaron. I liked this too. I think it is good that anyone in any school setting would try and help someone who has given so much to us (as a country). I am glad that someone is thinking of those who do what they do to make our country safe and free.

Wow thats awesome! Now this is a teacher who could answer questions about war from her students. Thats great that after all that she has been through she is looking forward to educating America's youth.

I think that is cool. I would love to hear her give a presentation on women in the military and her views of what went on over there. I would be honored to have her at my school.

For Kirk, Jessica Lynch is the POW that was recently rescued in Iraq in the past week and a half or so. And kind of as an update, the block class that Aaron and I are in received an e-mail from Dr. Greene stating that she has been offered a full ride to Marshall University. I am glad to see that our universities are providing these kinds of opportunities for our soldiers. Going through what they are going through is really rough, but I know it makes them feel better to know we appreciate what they do.
