I think the Kliebard article "Three Currents of American Curriculum Thought" really brought up some interesting ideas. I mean, it really is incredible to think about how values have changed in the past and how this has affected the emphasis of our school curriculums. I guess my question is just a curiousity about what you guys think. Do you think our current curriculums are the optimal ones for the education that our students need? Are we just putting our students through a mold? Is there more that we could be doing? And, are the required courses enough and the right ones to make our students creative, well-rounded thinkers?
