Ok this may be a really lame topic but lately I have been notcing the trend of bumper stickers here in boone they seem everywhere, cars, nalgene bottles, bikes, notebooks, etc. Now I have been to ther cities, etc and college towns but I think that its completely reflective of a college location and roots by looking at the bumper stickers of the people in it. The best one i saw recently on a station wagon read " sure i trust the government, Just ask an Indian". What kind of bumper stickers do you see that make u think? Think about the views of the town, etc? How do they contrast?

This is an interesting topic Natalie. I too have also noticed the abundant amount of bumper stickers here in Boone as well as other college towns. I wanted to reply because I recently heard from a friend with approximately 20 bumper stickers on his car that if you have more than 2 bumper stickers on your car that is "reason enough" for a cop to pull you over. I think that is absurd that I could be driving down the road obeying all rules and regulations with 2 bumper stickers on my car and be pulled over for a random search. How ridiculous! The most interesting bumper sticker that I have seen recently reads..."I pee in pools."

Currently, my personal fave is "Trim the Bushes" That is going to be top of my list for the next three and a half years. I also enjoy "Visualize Whorled Peas."

I saw one yesterday in my parking lot that I liked.

It said simply, "Turn off Fox News".

I have to say I agree.

The last bumper sticker that really stuck with me stated this:

Blacks didn't choose Slavery
Jews didn't choose Genocide
Babies don't choose Abortion

I couldn't agree more!
