After reading many of the posts on discrimination I have some questions that come to mind. As a teacher when addressing discrimination I wonder if we are really teaching our students or their parents. What do you do when your student has parents that are a member of a radical group? What happens when parents are angered by our teachings? Is hate something you can erase from your students when that is all that they have been taught? |
