Thank you Chuk for the very informative site. It seems that most of us in the class know someone or are related to someone that was in Vietnam and this site may help us understand a little bit more.

The poem "Natural History" struck me the most. It gave me the strongest feeling of what it was like(confusing and frightening) to be in Vietnam. The line about throwing a rock at a cobra expressed the fear and hopelessness of the soldiers situation the most. Thanks Chuk for the link.

Chuck,
Thanks for the link. It is hard to fathom what the soldiers endured while in Vietnam. Their poetry shows a glimpse into their feelings.
