I would just like to know if anyone has had a personal experience with being discriminated against. I had an experience with it that I will never forget. A girlfriend of mine and myself had been shopping somewhere on our way home we came across this business that sells modular homes. These homes where huge and gorgeous. We decided we would stop and look around in them. We we entered the main office (because you had to sign in) we were behind these two married couples. Well the couples signed in and a salesman began their tour. When my girlfriend and I got up to the counter to sign in for the tour we were immediately taken back into this office and some other salesman started reading up prices of single wide mobil homes in the surrounding area. Once we realized what he was doing we got up and left. We were so mad. I told everyone I knew not to do business with them and how they treated us. That experience has stayed with me for more that eight years. I was just wondering if anyone else had been discriminated against and what your reaction was?

My parents were discriminated against at a Pizza Hut in Alabama. It was a mostly black neighborhood, and my parents are white. Well, when they entered the restaurant they were told they were closing, but then the black couple that came in as they were leaving were seated. Boy were they mad. I don't think they've been back to any Pizza Hut since then.
