Doesn't affirmative action encourage the same practice McIntosh is criticizing inWhite Privilege. If affirmative action means choosing a minority over an equally deserving caucasian simply because of their skin color then is not that conferring a privilege based on skin color? Maybe there is more to it than I realize. Does anyone know more about affirmative action?
