 That is a very tough question. So many sides to consider. First, I agree the people living there now had nothing to do with the indians loosing their land and should not be punished. Second, I do feel that once one or two generations have passed that what responsibility do we have towards retribution? Third, I do see how the indian tribe has suffered and would it not be better to give them some land in a national park and use a good portion of the money to build their people up such as schools and good communities...this could be done through a joint effort of indian leaders and the ones dishing out the money. I do not see any effect casinos have on bettering the indian race. I just don't know...but I do feel education and dignity and respect will be the path to take...not simply cash.
