It was hard for me to apply my learning when I first entered this program. I felt like I was in a chemistry class and just going through the motions without understand why. My previous graduate degee is in education and I could relate to and apply new knowledge in my everyday teaching experience. When told that we had to complete 80 internship hours in our second semester I was floored! I had no idea how to reflect on many of my experiences, or even define "rich experiences." My, what a year can do! I have learned so much, and learned alot about myself, both positive and negative. My learning is now applicable and I find myself looking at each new experience through the lenses of an administrator. Hey, this sounds like a SARL's to me!
