It has been some time since our discussion of the lynching postcards and the situations surrounding them. I personally have to make sure that I am careful when I say anything on this topic because it seems very close to me. I do feel that the present day style of lynching is alive and well when it disguises itself behind tv reports, statistics, and people's insecurities. The public's misconception on topics is a dangerous weapon. To me, the relynching in America is different only because it is accepted in 2005 and has a negative impact on many other groups of people.
