I read the article about the teacher who combinded his social studies class with an english teacher. I had this same opportunity in high school. I found it very helpful and refreshing. We as teachers need to come up with new and invetive ways to make learning fun. The activity about the soccer ball was very interesting and was an eye opener. Kids become easily bored with the same routinue year after year. Our jobs as teachers is to spice it up a little!
