Life is as simple or as complicated as one makes it....every once in a while I enjoy pure drama that complicates my life with emotion and theatrics. That way, once the air clears, I better appreciate the simple things in life that make me smile:
-a new jar of peanut butter thats never been opened
-the smell of pine trees
-a little kid burping his ABCs
-Far Side Cartoons
-lighting birthday candles
-rocking my cat to sleep(my cat has bad dreams....its the strangest thing)
-red Skittles
-smell of leather gloves
-fireworks
-dancing to no music
-counting stars
-jumping in rain puddles
-red Jellybeans

Jaela,

THe only way that I think as humans we stay happy is doing things that make us happy!! and from the discussion in class about loving what you do, with teaching, etc....

the most important thing: Do what you love and lOVE what you do!! :)

Enjoy the world around you!!!

You know Jaela, I have a list of things that make me happy too. I tend to appreciate them after some type of stress has entered my life and left as abruptly as it came. IF you see my profile on facebook, you can see my whole list...these are just some I have extracted for you all.
-The women on Maury Povich who run off stage because this is their 5th time on the show, and they STILL DON'T KNOW WHO THE BABY'S DADDY IS!!!
- HUGS!
-The shiney reflecting stuff on tennis shoes.
- The way the air smells right before and right after it rains in the spring.
-Sand between my toes.
- Someone letting you in front of them at the store when you have less items than they do.
-The way someone makes you whole-heartedly laugh.
-Saying the exact same thing at the exact same time with a best friend.
-When you go to the salon and they wash and massage your head while you sit in the massaging chair.
(ok the first and last ones are not the norm, but they make me happy!)
