I remember a while back in class we were discussing the stereotype that people have about more males being sexual predators than females. It is truly ridiculous that male teachers have to be extra worried about being accused as sexual predators. I've heard of female students accusing their male teachers of sexual harassment because they didn't get their desired grade in a class. There are plenty of female sexual predators out there, why are male teachers such easy targets?

Most sexual assault cases that make the news involve a male assaulting a female. It is rare that we hear about cases that go the other way, even though there are plenty of these cases out there. I'm afraid that the perception of the general public is that men are the agressors in sexual assault cases. I think that it is an unfair bias, but one that we will have to deal with.
