In one of my classes a presentation was given on the website www.teachingtolerance.org. It's a great resource for teachers and many of the topics we covered in class are addressed on the site. There's plenty of free stuff to download and print, such as a handbook called "Responding to Hate at School." The handbook lists scenarios and gives advice on how to respond to situations invovling hate, and lists ways that you can promote respect and tolerance. There's a page of classroom activities as well that help teach tolerance. Overall, it's a pretty fantastic website, full of information for teachers, students and parents. They'll even send FREE educational kits to teachers.

Do you know of any websites with really good resources for teachers/schools/education majors. . .?

The NASA Education site offers teachers lots of free stuff ranging from lesson plans to posters and movies for the class. Their site is also filled with all sorts of science information other than space stuff.
