I was surpised to read the students response that "going to school with all the races is more important than a modern school." page 31
I don't understand their logic because from what I've seen at our own high school they usually form groups that stick together like glue.

I thinks those kids, even though they know they are being discriminated against, still have some faith in the system and believe in the dream of equality for all. You have to wonder why they continue to have faith and believe in a brighter day. Maybe hope is what keeps them going.
