Can anything be standardized? IQ tests? EOG's? SAT's? Achievement tests? Is it possible? There are too many possibilities for mistakes and influences that effect the results- biases, human error, acts of God. I report evaluations to parents everyday. These results can change the course of a child's education and the future course of their lives. So much emphasis is put on these results. Many times the results are not as we had expected. Is this really the accurate results or were there problems during the administration or was the test reliable? I am often fearful of even being a part of this process.
