I agree, Suzanne! I wasn't too impressed with her dicsussion of the church incident or Christians.

I have a lot of respect for Barbara Ehrenreich and what she went through to get the material for her book. I wish she hadn't gone into so much detail about cleaning bathrooms. She was also pretty cynical about the church service she attended. She could have left that part out. It wasn't really relevant to her research. But I admire her efforts to change the way America sees the working class. Maybe some reform can come from her book. |
