You know the goal for many of us is to create an account and save money for a rainy day and for our children's education. Often when you are a beginning teacher or a newlywed, it takes years to save up money to have a decent savings account. Often after the mortgage is paid, lights, phone, cell, tuition
expenses and books, baby doctor bills, and college loans; there is little left to spend on yourself. You can find yourself living paycheck to paycheck for a while.
As I read Nickled and Dimed, I thought about how sad it is that Barbara tried to work two jobs to make ends meet and how tired she was at the end of the day. We often work one job and are exhausted but are able to make ends meet.
This book is engrossing and makes me appreciative of what I do have.
