Today's edition of The Appalachian has an opinion article about alternative schooling and it sounds like the author advocates cognitivism/developmentalism from Dr. Turner's synopsis of learning theories. I felt like responding to the newspaper and say that our class discusses the pros and cons of such theories and we, as aspiring professionals, are aware of this theory and other educational movements, but I decided to just post the links here incase people want to read the online article or pick up a copy of Tuesday's newspaper. |
