I found this article today when i was online! I thought it was a great point. So often teachers get the blame for the decline in education, but this article helps fight the arguement that it isn't the educators!!!

Interesting that the author is an education consultant ... I couldn't quite tell which side she was on because of phrases like "bringing down" the rest of the students and "highly qualified teachers" <-> "highly performing students". Ehh ...
