I thought this article was much easier to read. I read it outside today. Wasn't it a beautiful day? Either this article was much easier to read or the beautiful weather has brought me out of my winter blues and opened my brain back up. I reccommend reading it in the sunshine.

:) I agree that this article seemed to be MUCH easier to read. Greene points out, " If teachers cannot enable them to resist the humdrum, the routine, or what Dewey called the "anesthetic" they will be in danger of miseducative behavior, ending in cul-de-sacs rather than the openings".
I feel that often times teachers have to deal with home environment
problems before learning can ever take place. Our job DEFINITELY involves being a good listener AND a good teacher!
