has anyone bravely attempted this article for tonight? i have lived with a score of dictionaries on my desk madly trying to put together latin and greek and german root words. it is written from a perspective which assumes a great deal of prior knowledge that i do not possess.

i will be very interested to have it explained to me tonight. i have used up lots of internet search time and multi-colored highlighters.

any words of wisdom to share?

I did try reading it. I had the same thought- that there was a lot of background information that I was lacking. It did make a little more sense to me than Dewy. There were quite a few times when I thought of Ishmal while I was reading it.
