Does anyone know if there have been any improvements to any of the school districts we read about in Savage Inequalities? The book should be required reading for all elected officials in our country. This is America, the riches most powerful country in the world. I wonder if the rest of the world has any idea what really goes on in our education system.

I had the same question. I wanted to know that people had responded to this book. (An optimist, I like to think the best of society.) I searched the internet to help answer that question. Look at my post under HA HA RANDY I still wish I knew more. My sister is moving to St. Louis next month. I am going to try to get her to research it for us.
