Even when I finished reading the book, I couldn't get this thought about girls out of my mind. p.17 said, "They don't often pass the tests to get in. Too many centuries of evolution are working against them." I went back to see when it was written. I know that in the 6os and 70s, most women didn't work or they were secretaries or teachers. I wonder if he would say the same thing now. Most science fiction you see on TV has women equal to men. Have we changed evolution or was he just bias?

Cathy now that you mention it, the statement rubbed me the wrong way. I'm inclined to believe he was perhaps biased.
