Kurt Vonnegut just died on Wednesday (link below) and I just wanted to post a link to one my favorite of his short stories "Harrison Bergeron."

Yes, this was very sad news. At least he lived a long, fruitful life. Can you imagine how amazing it would have been to study under Mr. Vonnegut? My personal favorite was Cat's Cradle, which I read in high school shortly after reading Joseph Heller's Catch 22. These novels changed my whole outlook on human behavior and insanity. With all of this global warming meliting our icecaps, I'd say we could use a little ice-9 right about now!

Thanks for posting about his passing, because he is someone who deserves to live on in infamy.
