So the Master Plan "founding father" has lost his "fortune" and reputation. The world has turned him aside. Years later, Kerr's plan is resurrected so that UC is "turning itself into a restricted institution that selected and sorted, conferring...benefits ...on a desrving few" (173-174).
I hope to remember that as I brainstorm with the best (at doing whatever is the good work at hand) to make a good plan, that even though the plan may be tossed aside in time , there is hope, that a good plan cannot be put down but can return in its good and proper time.
It's amazing to me that the good work of one who serves his passion and has the vison and wherewithal to accomplish a good work, get to see his good work return again manifold!
