Is anyone paying attention to the people in the Test? Do you remember Glen Walker? He's the one who really believed in educaiton and in the SAT for California. After peddling it to nearly all the state and working his passion to exhaustion, he gets a letter from his boss,"Relax, slow down,it's just a test.? Then he commits suicide (Test,107).

You know...our passion tht has fueled us on this trek can overcome us.We can lose our balance and thwart our perception.

I understand that we read literature to better acquaint ourselves with reality so that we will know how to act under similar conditions. Well, I am learning to stay connected to those I most respect and to balance that which I do.

Wouldn't you like to be a Mr. Kerr? To have that insight, passion, and foresight? To have the trust and "generosity of spirit" to entrust in others great works!
