HAS ANYONE HAD THE CHANCE TO LOOK OVER BLOOM'S TAXONOMY OF EDUCATION?

I have looked at it a little, do you agree with the levels of thinking? Which level do you think is most effective in a classroom? I think application is very important. It seems to me if students can apply something then they can evaluate it. What do you think?

I agree. I think application is one of the most, if not most, important levels of the Blooms Taxonomy. Through application you can see whether or not students truly understand what they have learned. And if students can't use the information they learn in real situations then that newly learned knowledge is of no benefit to that child. Also it seems like application incorporates several other levels as well, such as knowledge, understanding, and sometimes I think analysis.

For me, each level seems to flow into one another so much that it’s hard to say that any one of them is the highest. You can’t evaluate something about which you have no knowledge. For me, anything about the different levels of thinking as far as a teacher or student is to never be satisfied with just one or to think you have finally arrived. There is another level or something else you can take in.
