| Post subject: | Tragic Incident- Boone Saloon in Ashes |
Tonight, the 10th of April, the Boone Saloon caught on fire. For those of you who need to respond to such a heartbreaking, appalling, and unfortunate event this is the place to do it. I am sure many memories were scorched as the blue flames were shooting out of those windows, and all of you will need time to heal. |

Definitely a bad thing to hear. I hope everyone who was there made it out alright and nobody was hurt during the fire. It's a great place to go, hopefully it will be back soon. Jacob, do you have any further information on the accident? |

Who has two thumbs and doesn't care? This Guy! I am not a big Boone Saloon fan, now Flipside on the other hand... If that burnt down I would probably jump off a building. |

Just wanted to let you all know that i read the Appalachian earlier this week and the cause of the fire was improper discarding of smoking materials (a cigarette). Regardless of whether or not you were a patron of the Boone Saloon it is still a tragic incident and i am glad that no one was hurt. |

I know there are all kinds of rumors of what's going into the old App. Twin but apparently one of the owners of Boone Saloon (Skip) is in charge of remodeling it. So, hopefully Boone might have a decent music venue. |

Yeah, I would call this a "tragedy" because no one was hurt, but it is sad that it all began with a cigarette. It would be really sweet, though, if we got a decent, off-campus venue. |
