I know that this is something that most of us dont really think about this day and age, but the parents of the students that we will be teaching seeing this with the social stigma that used to be attached to having tattoos and piercings. I do agree that a teacher should be professionally dressed, but as long as there is nothing offensive to the body art then i see nothing wrong with it, i was just wondering what other peoples stances were on the topic?

I agree that it shouldnt be a big deal, but because parents will inevitably complain i can understand why a principal would ask to have them covered as much as possible. I think things like this are the most revealing about how comfortable you will be with an administration...
