So basically Plato was saying that our world is like the cave what we experience is only shadows, and that there is a place, or realm where objects actually exist. Plato calls this the realm of the forms. I pulled this from my Philosophy notes so the explanation is geared more toward that than education. However, I wanted to see if anyone can think of it another way. |
