I think that it is very important for people to realize what has gone wrong throughout history. I feel like we should know about things like lynching, so that we do not show the same types of ignorance and repeat history. I think there are ways to teach this without showing horrifying photographs that only enrage people. With so many things presentation can change someone's viewpoint completely. Presenting them in a way that enrages people is only going to continue the cycle of hatred and separation among races. I was wondering if anyone else had a different take on this?

I completely agree, because if we don't study history then we are doomed to repeat it. We may be uncomfortable seeing or hearing about the horrors of the past, but it is better to hear or see the horrors of the past than live the horrors of the present. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you can't know where you are going unless you know where you have been, personally, socially, and racially. That's all I got to say about that.
