I finished my internship for the semester and have realized along the way that the education part of my degree has come very late in the process? Do any other secondary ed majors feel like something is missing from the curriculum? I received very little if any training in accommodating exceptional learners for example. I feel that this is a very important aspect that is ignored by our educators. Should a change be made in how teacher education is structured?
