Hey everyone! I am having trouble uploading an avatar. It always tells me that the picture has to be less than 120 by 120 pixels. I tried cropping the picture and uploading it and then making it smaller but it tells me the same thing every time. If anyone can help or has any tips I would really appreciate the help! Thanks!

Hey Katie (and anyone else with the same problem), the best way to deal with uploading an avatar is to:

1. Find the photo you want and resize/crop it to anything less than 120x120
2. Post it on some kind of image hosting website (flickr, photobucket, imageshack, tinypic, etc).
3. Copy the Direct Link of the photo provided by the hosting site (which will typically end in .jpg or .gif).
4. Open up your profile settings for this board (top left corner of the page between Index and Search) and scroll to the bottom.
5. In the 'Upload Avatar from URL' box enter the direct link you copied from the image hosting website.

Hope this helps!
