In my band techniques class, we've been talking about where the line is for relationships with students. How will you make sure not to cross the line of friends, but still be friendly?

I think there is a difference between being nice and being friendly. I will always be nice to my students and welcome them all with open arms. However, I will try to remain professional by not favoring students, hanging out with certain students out side of school, and by treating all the students fairly.
