A couple weeks ago I stopped by the International Coffee Hour. It takes place every Friday afternoon in WhiteWater Cafe, which is on the second floor of the student union. I had actually always wanted to go but I am usually so swamped during the semester I don't have a chance to. Well, I finally had the opportunity to go. It was really awesome! I was surprised by how many people were there. There were lots of ASU students, international students, and even professors. It was a very laid back atmosphere that facilitated conversation, and everyone was really friendly. They also offered free food which was a nice bonus. Overall it was a great opportunity to meet new people, talk about some cultural topics, and just have a good time. I really enjoyed it and I plan on going more regularly next semester!!
